Hello donors,
How are you? I am very fine.Am also doing good at the university. It is quite interesting interacting with new people especially scholars. It has been a great pleasure talking to you again.
I am doing good in the university. The first few weeks ago while at the University I was so confused because I never knew any corner of the University.
I have made new friends who are scholars too.I have learnt how to manage my time while in the University since no one controls what one does and no bells.
There has been some ongoing strikes at the University due to inadequacy of enough funds by the government to add salary to the lectures.Due to hard and difficult economic situations in my country,I have a fees balance which has made it difficult for me to register for the certain units am taking at the University.
Of late am able to walk all parts of the University without getting lost.
I am glad and thankful for your support in my high school education.
God bless you all.

I had seen in your post asking me what I did for the science fair.We were enhancing our minds on how to come up with creative thinking. We opened minds of many people. However, during this term, we had ball games and other sports like playing badminton, table tennis and many more.Consequently,I did not participate in any because of the projects.Back home,I am are assisting my parents in home chores.I am also doing revision to better my results next term.Am very glad for your donation towards funding my education.Have a good time.
With Love,Muthini.
Hi donors,
I hope that you are fine,
We closed our schools on 2/8/2024 but I was left at school together with my fellow school choir members for the National Music Festivals which were held at Moi Girl's School,Eldoret . we came back on date 11/8/2024 then we were released to go home the following day.
The festivals were really challenging but we tried our level best,
Unfortunately we were challenged by few schools so we did not manage to go to the next level but all the same we thank God for the chance.
I really enjoyed the long journey and also meeting other students,
I am working smart on my studies.
My goal this holiday is to help my guardians on their daily chores and also revise for the opening exam.
I pass my gratitude to you for your love and good heart, as well as the generous contributions towards my school fees.
May the lord bless you abundantly, thank you.
Hi donors,
Hope you are fine, am also fine too.
We had closed school for our end term two holiday.
Am writing this letter to appreciate your concern in my education.
In school we had beehive of activities including games. We had
ballgames going on well but our football team ended up to sub county level where they lost at finals in penalties.
We had done well in our academics. We had participated in both external and internal contest. We did our end term exam which I had passed with flying colours.I was not only congratulated but also I was
awarded.
The school life was not so hard.I enjoyed it because I kept myself from any trouble. The food that we ate was well cooked and delicious.
The challenging thing is that the school is located where the climate
is not too encouraging for human survival. We take cold baths which is discouraging to asthma students. The coldness is increasing the rate of diseases associated with coldness and it leads to many students transferring.Thank you.

I thank the almighty God for giving me such a chance to tell you more about this term. The term was good and of many activities. Some of this activities include, sports and many contests. I am also happy to in form you that I participated in some of contests and by God grace our school was ranked the best in various contests including the national mathematics contest we were the best school.I also took part in physics contest and I was position 14.On the other part of sports our basket ball team made up for regional games but we did not make it up for nationals. Our music club and rugby team made to the nationals and we hope they are going to do better. In the academic part i improved from the mid term results.I look forward for good results so as to achieve my dream.I thank you for the support you have been giving me. Hello donors, How are you? I hope you are fine. on my side, I am fine very happy for God's protection. In school things have been good.
Basing on Dagoreti weather station trip which we went,we had lot of fun.Despite having fun, I was able to learn some educative things which I never thought of.
In addition, also in school life is good and am very happy for being in school because due to clubs in the school,I was able to discover my talent which is running.
I thank you for the support you offer towards my school fees to ensure I am in school.
Hello donors,
How are you?Hope you are fine.I am also fine with my family members.I am at home for August holiday break. At home I will help my mother with house chores and create time for studying to achieve my set target. At school there were music festivals which were performed at the neighboring school. My school had proceeded in dances before we went home for mid break, won trophies and proceeded to the national level.I hope they will do their best and bring more trophies and certificates.I thank you for giving me a chance to be at school by ensuring that my fees is fully paid.May God bless you for your generosity.
Hello Sharon,
Thank you too for the interesting note that you wrote. I have really enjoyed reading it and I am also happy to learn from you.
Our school holds a career day every year. During the career day, different professions usually group themselves in different areas where each student goes to the career that she wants to learn about. My hopes are to explore at least four or more than four different careers for the four years that I`ll be schooling. During the last year`s career day, I went to the Medicine field and learned a lot about it.
This year, I went to the field of law. I really enjoyed it. We had several lawyers who made the moment of interaction with them be full of fun.
I have been reading school books since the studies at school have been really keeping me busy, but I am looking forward to borrow a novel from the Kenya connect library so that I can keep myself busy with it when I am free.
It seems you really like farming. At our place, what is at the farm is peas. They are a type of legumes which are green when wet and brown when dry. I really like them when wet because they are very sweet. As for now, they are nearly becoming dry but I think they won`t dry up before the holiday is over.
It`s nice to learn that you like stories. I also like them because they keep me entertained and make me learn a lot of new things.
Have a nice summer and take care too.
Goodbye!!
Hello donors,

How are you donors? I hope you are doing great and that´s my great pleasure. It has been a while since we communicated but on my side I am well and doing great in my studies.

We actually had many activities at school including co-curricular activities . We participated in music festivals with other schools and emerged to be the best up to regional level where we were defeated but we never gave up. We are trying our best to participate come next year.

We have just closed the schools for a long August holiday. Currently , I am visiting the Kenya Connect Library to get revision materials to improve in weak areas and also read storybooks to perfect in my grammar part.

It`s my great pleasure to thank you all donors for your contribution towards my education fee. May Almighty God bless you all for the support.
Hello donors,
First I would like to take this golden opportunity to pass my warm greetings and sincere gratitude to you. How have been? It is my hope that you are doing well. On my side, the academic term has ran so smoothly that I could not realise it had come to an halt due to presence of so many activities such as the games activities and music festivals. Despite the challenging environment, I worked with much zeal and zest, and so I attained a mean grade of B-. This was majorly contributed by the enormous support you offered through payment of my school fees. I would like to thank you for your great and kind support. May you be blessed. Good bye.
Hi donors,I am grateful for your contribution towards raising my school fees.I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we have broken for the end term holiday. The previous term was very great .I managed to challenge myself by working smarter in my studies and also in other co curricular activities .I am looking forward to have an enjoyable holiday where I will be assisting my parents in doing various activities such as household chores and working hard in my studies to keep the mantle burning.I promise to work boldly towards my goals.

I am writing to inform you that we are home for short holiday lasting three weeks.Term two has been a very busy term, full of many activities.I only participated in science and mathematics contest and emerged one of best ten in Kiambu county schools.I was not able to read a novel this term because I was so busy going through my Kiswahili and English set books.

Now that I am at home I am planning to utilise my time well going through all my form 1-4 notes as I prepare for the final exam in November this year.I will also make sure I read at least a novel to continue boosting my grammar and vocabulary.I will help my mother in house chores.

Hello donors,
I hope you are fine.First I would like to thank you for your support. The term has been too long and full of activities. We started with science contest where I participated in both physics and chemistry,in chemistry I managed to be among top ten students.I also participated in music festivals where I reached county level. At the end of term we did an external exam which I scored B-.I was not happy with the grade but the good thing is I learnt my weak area.Am looking forward to achieve My dream not only to help myself but also my country. We Will open for term three on date 26 this Month. I am aiming higher bearing in mind that within a challenge there is an opportunity.Bye.
Hello donors? How are you doing? I am doing well so far. When I joined secondary school, school fees was a problem. My parents could not afford to pay my school fees because they depend on casual jobs to sustain our family. What they get is actually not enough to cater for all our basic needs and so school fees felt like a huge burden for them. Every time I was being sent home for school which negatively affected my performance. It got to a place where I stayed home for almost a year because my parents had not paid even a single cent.
My gratitude goes out to you all for clearing my fee balances and funding my school fees. I am able to focus very well in my studies because I am not sent home for fees. My grades have improved and I am very thankful. Any donation from you will support my learning and I will be able to achieve my goal which is being an Electrical engineer.
Hello donors, How are you going on?I hope that you are fine.I am also fine and very happy to inform that I joined a national secondary school and it is one of the best and highly performing schools in our country. It is a dream come true for me because I have always wanted to join a national school. The distance from home to our school is very long. It actually takes me close to 10 hours to get to the school.
We have come home for a holiday break. The term has been a beehive of activities including games, exams and educational trips. The climate at school is not that much favorable. The school is situated in a high land and this makes the weather to be very cold. Another unique thing about the area where my school is located is that it rains almost daily and hence the main crop grown is tea and the county is the biggest producer of tea in Kenya. Our school is. I have known how to plant some crops such because I take Agriculture.
I will be going back to school at the end of this month for my third term. I have improved in my grades and I promise to improve more.
Many thanks for funding my education and helping me to stay in school without being send home for school fees. May your pockets be blessed and may you be blessed with good health and everything good.
I wish you all a nice time.
Hello donors,
How are you? I am very fine and I hope you are too. It is my first time to write to you and I am very excited about it. I joined a very good secondary school which is helping me to achieve my goals. Teachers in my new school are very friendly and they teach us very well to understanding.
Life was not easy for the first weeks because I did not have friends in the new school and I was also not familiar with the new environment. I would actually get lost almost every time I went for bathroom breaks, but as weeks went by, I got used to the new environment and I mastered my class and my dorm.
I take 12 subjects unlike in primary school where I took 6 subjects. They are not hard except for Computer studies which I find it a bit challenging because I had never learnt about it until I joined secondary school. My best subject is history because it helps me appreciate the changes we have had in our culture as well as living standards.
we wake up at 4:00 am for our morning preps which is earlier than the time I used to wake up when I was in primary school. I have adapted to this wake up time.
I have improved in my academics and I am still working hard to achieve more.
My gratitude goes out to you for donating towards my school fees. i have been able to stay in school and read smoothly. May you be blessed and increased.
Have a nice time ahead.
Dear donors,
Hi how have you been? I hope you are doing fine.I am at home.we closed on 31/7/2024 for our August holiday and we will be back to school on 28/8/2024.
At school things are okay, my academic report is okay and this term we went for counties football, rugby, table tennis, lawn tennis, volleyball but unfortunately we got defeated in all games. This year was the first time to compete at the county level and we did learn a lot from the other schools who were competing with us and we hope next time we will do better. we also had exams which took almost the rest of the term because we stared on 3rd and finished on 18th.
I want to thank you for supporting my education by paying my school fees.Thank you very much and may God bless you
Have a nice time.
Hi donors,
It is my hope that you are doing well.I want to sincerely thank you for your support towards my academics and my future dreams.May the almighty God bless and provide for you forever. The term has been quite busy as we were participating in ball games where our school's flag was raised up to the county level and we emerged position two.
Moreover we the school's scouts went for a camp hosted by Tala Girls High School where we were taught measures of first aid and also how to take care of world animals and the environment. It was such a great exposure as some of us did not know how to handle such matters.
We have been released from school for our holiday on date 2 August ,2024 and expected to resume back on date 27 the same month.I will use the holiday wisely to revise hard since it is my last holiday and then I sit for the national exam.
I always believe in one quote that "winners never quit".
Have a nice time and be blessed
Bye bye and have a wonderful and successful time ahead.

Hello Emmaculate:

Thank you for your lovely note. It's sounds like you had a busy term! At career day, was there a career that excited you? Have you been reading any books?

It's been very hot and humid in Maryland where I live. We are hoping for rain soon for our gardens and for farms in the area. Yesterday I went to a farm and picked two big boxes of peaches. They are a stone fruit that are sweet like mangoes. This weekend I will "can" them which means I'll cook them a little and put them in jars so I can have them in the winter when there are no peaches (attached is a pic of the peaches.)

I have been watching some of the summer Olympics. It's just amazing to see the athletes perform. I'm so impressed by their determination and dedication.

I love to read and right now I'm reading a book about a young girl in England who likes to create plays. She lives along the coast and had found a washed up whale. Once the whale decomposed, she used the bones for a back drop of her stage. It's quite interesting and transports me to a whole new place. When I'm reading I form all these images in my head like I'm there in the book.

Keep working hard in school and read as many books as you can during the school break!

Take care!
Sharon
Hello donors,

Hi Donors and friends,
I am very well and I hope that you are well too.
Its my great pleasure to write a journal to you again inform you that
we are now home for a short holiday break after covering the second part of term-two.
The term was a nice one despite it being a busy and a long term. The studies are going on well and also our teachers are taking us through the syllabus well. During the second half of the term, our school held the annual career day. Different professions came,we explored different careers and learned a lot from them.
As we were in school, some parts of the country experienced earthquake. Our county was one of them. It occurred at night as we were in our classes for the night preps. The school was out of order as everyone ran out of the classes because at first we were not aware of that it was an earthquake since the class buildings were really shaking making us think that they were about to fall. It was after a few seconds when the earthquake was over and we realised what it was.
In terms of the weather, the cold season is nearly coming to an end for summer to begin. The break is from 1st August till 27th of the same month.
Finally, I would like to extend my gratitude to you for your continued support of contributing towards my school fees payment.
May the Almighty shower His great blessings upon you.
Goodbye !!

term two holiday and I thank the almighty for taking us
through the term. The term has been so busy and I am so glad to
inform you that we were able to catch up with time, after the
heavy floods that interfered with our studies here in Kenya.
Of course, our school chief principal had to change the
school timetable so as to cover the time lost during the
disaster. Therefore, the students had to put themselves in
her shoes.
This term, we also participated in games and
we managed to proceed up to county level. The music club also
won a trophy and they are now proceeding to the national level.
This term, the weather has not been so favourable to all and a number of students have just found them selves very sick with pneumonia and colds.
A few weeks ago, we experienced a mild earthquake in our area but

The school is well built and has a lot of infrastructures .we are known to be the bright students and hence nicknamed the blue stars. We are not only good in studies but also games . i participated in walking race but i did not win .I hope i will win next time .The school had few challenges such as lack of water which has quite improved. There was also two cases of tuberculosis but we thank God because the girls are now healthy and strong.

Hello donors,
I hope you have been doing well.On my side I am doing great.I am writing this journal to notify you that we have closed the school for a long August holiday. The term was a bit short due to many activities at school. We had the term two ball games where I participated in Volley ball.We did quite well and we played all the way to the county level.Unfortunately my team did not qualify to the regional level but am very happy of the achievement and also I enjoyed too much.

On matters academics,I did so much revision and I also improved in a few subjects. As am waiting for the final exams, there is a lot of pressure on me due to much revision am required to do.During this holiday I will do a lot of revision in preparation of my exams.

I would like to thank you all guys for your support. May God bless you all.Bye..
Hello friends? I hope you are fine. I am also fine. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for donating towards my school fees.
It is my first time to write to you and I am very excited about it. I would like to let you know how my new school life is and how I have been doing since I joined secondary school. I wake up very early in the morning and prepare for my morning preps which start at 5:30 a.m, which is a bit earlier than than the start time of preps in my former primary school.
While in primary school, I was taking seven subjects whereas in secondary school am taking eleven subjects which I am trying my level best to achieve best grades. I met new and nice people in my secondary school who welcomed me warmly. This made me adapt to the new school life faster.
Waking up very early has not been easy but I am adapting to the new wake up times. Our school is built near a hill and this makes the climate very cold. I have acquired several sweaters and leg warmers which help keep me warm especially in this cold season.
We have friendly teachers who teach us very well and encourage us to continue reading smart to achieve our goals and dreams. They also encourage us to ask questions where we don`t understand.
Last term we had ball games in our school, and luckily I was among the best players and I was rewarded.
Life in secondary school has been smooth because of your generous contributions. I have never miss classes because I have never been sent home for school fees. I pray that lord will continue to bless your pockets. Pass my greetings to your families and I wish you all a nice time ahead.
Good bye!
Hello fam!
Today i would like to share with you what i have learned from the book “ The alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

What are the main lessons in The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho? How can you apply the book’s lessons to your own life?
The Alchemist is the story of an Andalusian shepherd boy’s journey of spiritual awakening. The boy gives up everything to embark on a long journey across the desert toward the Egyptian pyramids, to look for a treasure he has dreamed of. He follows omens and the wisdom of spiritual guides he meets along the way.
Here are the biggest lessons Santiago learns during his journey.

1. Follow Your Calling

The first, and arguably the most important, lesson from The Alchemist is to follow your calling. The major insight Coelho reveals through the king is that everyone has what he calls a Personal Legend. This is essentially your calling in life, which you feel as a passion drawing you toward it. It’s that thing you most dream of doing in your life. People feel this pull most strongly in childhood, the king explains, as children are more in tune with the spiritual realm and are not afraid to dream big. However, he says this pull subsides as we grow older and become conditioned to live according to societal expectations. Eventually, many reject their calling entirely, believing it to be unachievable and unrealistic. However, the king explains that everyone’s dream is realizable at any time, and when you pursue it, the universe will work with you to help you achieve it. Pursuing this calling is our only real purpose in life, though most people will never accomplish that.
(Shortform note: The law of attraction tells us that our energy will attract like energy from the universe. In this way, according to The Secret, we can make the universe work with us to achieve whatever we want, by consciously generating the right energy. According to this philosophy we’re all connected as one “great mind,” and it’s through this that we’re able to create our own destiny, essentially by believing in it.)
Over the course of this conversation, the boy is convinced that he needs to follow his calling and go to the Egyptian pyramids to find his treasure. The king advises him that a crucial part of following one’s calling is paying attention to signs.
The boy decides that day to sell all his sheep to buy passage to Africa. In this decision, Coelho is showing us that sometimes we have to make major sacrifices to follow our dreams, and we will come to learn that it’s always worth the risk.

2. Love Needs Freedom

In the story, Santiago tells the alchemist about his mission to pursue his dreams and about his reluctance to leave because he’s fallen in love, the alchemist warns him against falling into that trap. Here, Coelho teaches us, through the alchemist, that true love will never hold you back from following your dreams—this is the difference between love and possession.
The alchemist describes to the boy exactly what will happen if he decides to stay in the oasis with Fatima. He says they’ll be married, and Santiago will become successful and respected in a new career, and then over time he’ll be confronted with the nagging feeling that he still isn’t fulfilled. If he continues to ignore it, the pull toward his dream and the universe’s signs will gradually fade, until he’s resigned and lives the rest of his life knowing he failed to follow his calling. Here, Coelho shows us why many people no longer recognize their calling later in life.

3. Everything Is One

Along their journey into the desert, toward the Pyramids, the alchemist and the boy are kidnapped by a group of tribal warriors. This is the last trial the boy will have to face in the final leg of his journey to the treasure. Through this story, Coelho shows us the importance of taking big risks and believing in the power of transformation.
The tribesmen plan to kill the travelers until the alchemist tells them that the boy possesses magical powers and can transform himself into wind. Of course Santiago has no idea how to do this, and the tribesmen are reluctant to believe it. But they say that if the boy can do that, they’ll recognize his power and spare their lives. This leads us to the pinnacle scene where Santiago has to learn how to transform himself into wind.
He recalls all the wisdom he’s gleaned along this journey and delves into a deep communion with the wind, and then the sun, and he calls upon the powers of nature and the divine spirit of the universe for help. Because the boy has learned to speak the universal language and penetrate the spiritual realm, the universe conspires to help him. He’s able to transform himself into wind and leaves the tribesmen amazed. They hold true to their promise and allow the two to be on their way. Through this story, Coelho shows us the power that faith plays in the transformational process—the boy was able to transform because he believed it was possible, and this belief gave him all the power of the universe on his side.

Thank you
Fahdy.
